Terms of use

These terms govern the use of SkyJoin (website, web app and apps). The provider is PS Professional Solutions, owner Pankaj Mondjal, Lindenhorsterstr. 185, 44339 Dortmund, Germany (“we”).

1. What SkyJoin is

SkyJoin is a free platform where adults share trips, city breaks, events and food tours and arrange to go together. We do not arrange travel, sell tickets or become a party to agreements between members. Each member books and organises flights, accommodation and costs themselves.

2. Account

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • Your information must be truthful. False identities and fake profiles are prohibited.
  • One account per person. Keep your password secret.
  • Use is free of charge. There is no entitlement to a particular availability or particular features.

3. Community rules – zero tolerance

We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive behaviour. In particular, the following are prohibited:

  • harassment, insults, threats, stalking and hate speech (e.g. based on origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability),
  • sexual, pornographic or violent content and unsolicited sexual advances,
  • spam, advertising, commercial offers, chain letters and fraud attempts (e.g. requests for prepayment),
  • content that infringes the rights of third parties and anything that violates applicable law,
  • spying on or passing on other people’s personal data without their consent.

SkyJoin automatically filters offensive terms. You can report profiles, trips and messages and block people at any time.

4. Moderation and suspensions

We review reports within 24 hours, remove inadmissible content and may warn, temporarily or permanently suspend and delete accounts. In the case of criminal offences we may inform the authorities.

5. Your content

Content you post remains yours. You grant us the simple, free right to display it within SkyJoin for as long as it is online. You confirm that you hold the necessary rights (e.g. to your profile photo).

6. Meetings and trips

Meetings with other members take place at your own responsibility. Meet in public places first, tell friends about your plans and never send money in advance. We do not verify members’ identities beyond confirming their email address.

7. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. In the case of slight negligence, we are only liable for breach of essential obligations and limited to the typically foreseeable damage. We are not liable for the behaviour of other members or for agreements between members.

8. Termination

You can delete your account in the app at any time. We may terminate use for good cause, in particular for violations of these terms.

9. Changes

We may amend these terms if there is an objective reason (e.g. new features or a change in the law). We will inform you of material changes in good time in the app or by email.

10. Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
